Can we use Colored silicone molds with UV resin? how?
Sometimes, when you finally found a mold that I like to work with. but it’s “colored mold” Can it works with UV resin ?
Solid molds can be use with UV resin. But please note that UV resin need to expose the UV light to hardening so, the light can’t reach out at the bottom side. To fix this, just do thin layers, one by one and when you finished, unmold and exposed the back side to UV light to complete curing. Colored mold are most found as baking molds, but you can buy all and making with UV resin !! Happy creation :)
