Make it colorful!, What can I use to color UV resin?
UV-LED resin can mixing with colors and these are types of colorants can be use with UV-LED resin are
1. UV resin colorants
The colorants is made for UV resin, they usally come as a tiny squeeze pointed bottles that make them much easy to use.
2. mica powders
Mica is a natural stone mineral with shiny flakes. When mica is ground into a powder, you get mica powder. Mica powders are therefore sparkly, sort of like very fine glitter. They’re used to give a metallic or shimmery pearl-like effect. They come with various colors
3. gel nail polish
Gel polish is made up of acrylic monomers and oligomers that bond together when placed under UV light. So, they can be mix with UV-LED resin and cure by LED nail lamps
How to mix colored resin perfectly :
In a mixing cup, pour the resin and add a drop of UV resin colorant. Stir thoroughly before pouring colored resin into your works. If you're mixing various colors, separate each color's mixing cup to create vivid, intensely colored resin pieces.
Please note that colored UV resin takes longer time to cure and should not be mixed with more than 10% resin. If you mix quite intesnse colors, you will need to bake them layer by layer to get entirely dry and solid items.
