basic guide to using Chulimare Resin!
before wesgetting started: wear gloves or finger gloves, place the silicone mat or plastic sheet on your desk. guide 0 : Curing with UV-LED lamp in a proper period
Avoid staring directly into the UV-LED light. Take cautious not to overheat the resin during the curing phase. Keep resin bottle and mixing cups away from the lamp to prevent the resin curing by light leaking.
guide 1 : craft with silicone molds
drop the resin in a 2-3mm thin layer and curem if you’re making a piece with a thickness more than 5 mm. or mix intense colored, pour and bake it by layers to get a completely dry and solid piece.
guide 2 : craft with colored UV-LED resin
Pour the resin into mixing cup, put a drop of UV resin colorant. Stir well and pour colored resin into your works. If you mixing several colors, seperate the mixing cup each of color to get the bright and intense colored resin pieces. Please note, colored UV resin need more time to completely cured.
types of colorant can be use with UV-LED resin are
- UV resin colorants
- mica powder
- gel nail polish

guide 3 : craft with open bezels
drop resin carefully to a bezel, UV-LED resin have some viscosity so it’s not too liquid or too viscous substance. Use a pointed stick like meatball stick, silicone brush to spread out resin till cover a bezel brim. You can “dome” the surface by putting more drop by drop of UV resin, leave it set itself for 5-10 sec before bring it to bake.
guide 4 : UV-LED resin coating rules
Chulimare Resin can coat all solid and dry objects that do not contain any moisture as well as you can coat dried leaves, dried flowers, laser printed photo, glitters, sand, dried shells., etc. Things to work with resin must dry and solid cause moisture inside them will boiled and make your material burnt.
guide 5 : craft with dried natural materials (direct coating to dried materials)
All natural materials have some moisture within them, then curing, the moisture inside them will “boiled” by heat and will cause these materials “burnt” and “brown” so you must dry these natural materials first before put them in resin. The heat when curing is matter, prevent them from color fading, browning and withers, use LOW power UV-LED lamps (recommend to use 6W UV-LED lamp) and bake them for short time (just 10sec / 30 sec) to enhance how beautiful they were.
Jewel Resin is designed to be used with dried natural materials! When curing with Jewel resin, the lower temperature helps prevent burned and browning. In addition, Jewel resin has a perfectly dry, shining, silky touch to it!
guide 6 : craft with jewelry stones
Using Pavilion-cut stone designed to maximized color, brilliance and optical effects is recommended to use for an embedded object.
To attached these stones beautifully, use silicone brush or pointed wood stick to dip a small drop UV resin then spotted resin at the position. Place jewelry stones carefully and bake for 30-60 sec.
